Kathleen Sullivan brings a wealth of knowledge and horsemanship skills to her Clinics, Workshops and Lessons. Kathleen, a lifelong student of the horse, has been immersed in “Natural Horsemanship” since 1995. Kathleen believes the quest for excellence in horsemanship never ends. Kathleen continues to pursue her personal horsemanship goals by riding regularly  with her friend and mentor Buck Brannaman. Her studies with Buck include

Colt Starting, Foundation Horsemanship, Horsemanship 1 & 2, Ranch Roping and Cow Working.

Kathleen has also studied Colt Starting and Horsemanship with Bryan Neubert, Ronnie Willis and Steve Byrne. Kathleen was introduced to the importance of equine biomechanics and balance by BALANCE Saddle designer Carol Brett. She has continued her education in this subject through the works of such Masters as Nuno Oliveira and Alois Pohadjsky and most importantly through the constant observation of the horse.

Kathleen’s clinics are focused on helping students understand the psychological and physical “truth” about horses. This perspective allows all riders in any discipline to improve their horsemanship skills and gain rapid improvement in their individual horsemanship goals. Kathleen's clear, concise instruction explains the philosophy of natural horsemanship in a manner that is easy to understand and learn quickly. Her teaching style is an effective mix of spoken explainations, visual demonstrations and one-on-one coaching as the students interact with their horses. This approach addresses the variety of students' learning styles and results in rapid progress for both horse and rider.

Riding a horse is not a gentle hobby, to be picked up and laid down like a game of solitaire.
It is a grand passion.
It seizes a person whole and, once it has done so, he will have to accept that
his life will be radically changed.
-- Ralph Waldo Emerson
